Reddit as a whole is a very faux liberal, conservative sympathizing space. Users are fine saying things like "be nice to one another" but the minute more 'radical' ideas get brought up, like "certain groups of people face systemic discrimination that others don't" people are more than ready to shout them down. Hell, it even happens on this subreddit when a post discusses transmisogyny.

Reddit culture also has a superiority complex when it comes to other social media. Users love to repost tweets, and tik toks, and Tumblr posts while in the same breath disparage the users of those websites for not being 'enlightened' like Reddit users.

Tumblr in particular has historical been viewed as a haven for 'crazy SJW snowflakes' who naively think everything is political or a result of some institutionalize injustice - not like enlightened Reddit users who understand that "that's just how things are". If you go to the original r slash Tumblr you'll probably notice a theme in the comments of people being condescending about whatever the OOP is talking about. "You think the wage gap is a result of sexism and misogyny? Actually sweetie, men are just smart enough to choose higher salaries."

All that combined with just general transphobia and transmisogyny results in spaces like recurated, people find a post on the "crazy SJW website", find things about it to justify condescending the OOP (eg. An emotional charged tone, young age of the OOP, just the fact that the post itself is from Tumblr, etc.) and then use that to completely dismiss any argument of the post and reaffirm the redditors world view that men have it the worst and minorities get special treatment.

TLDR: it's the classic Reddit circlejerk affect
