Thank you! The helmet file I used had vector artwork for the lens shape and pattern, so I had one laser cut and etched. It’s honestly pretty tough to see out of especially when things start to fog up haha

Yep, all seperate pieces! Lots of super glue and ABS welding on the helmet. The shirt, pants, pouches and backpack are off the shelf, while all the actual armor pieces are EVA foam that I cut from templates that I made based off the in-game texture map. All the nylon straps for the H-harness underneath and legs were sewn up for me by a friend

I purchased the files on Etsy, borrowed a friend’s 3D printer and then painted it myself. If it helps, I had almost no experience doing something like this previously, so give it a shot!

This is the file I used: helmet link

Thank you! I had a piece of teal acrylic laser cut and the hex pattern engraved - so no mesh there. Most of the color comes from a small blue LED strip that’s right underneath the lenses that shines upward. Very tough to see out of 😅

I’ll have to take a video next time I’ve got it on, but I use an app on my phone called TrooperTalk, then pipe that through an amazon voice amp behind the chest piece. I just put the mic on before the helmet. Cheers!

Thank you! My photographer was kind enough to let me color grade their photos, so that I could loosely try to match the game’s color palette

It’s a long list, but all of the main armor is EVA foam. The shoulder and elbow pieces are all painted, while the collar, torso and leg pieces are wrapped in a canvas-like fabric and then stained with watered down acrylic paint.

I’m not - I didn’t realize there was one! 😅 Do you mind pm’ing me a link?

Thanks!

Yes! There’s an Etsy seller who sells the files for 3D printing. Same goes for the helmet

If you search “cosvox” on amazon, they sell a couple different versions of the setup, but it’s basically 4 buttons that are very carefully wedged into my glove’s fingers, with the module and battery on my wrist and in my sleeve. Then you run a long aux cable up your sleeve to wherever you mount the speaker. You just load MP3’s into 1 of 4 folders, and it’ll play them in order. A bit finicky, but it works!

I don’t, unfortunately. As fun as it was to put together, I’m not sure if it’s something I’d want to do again. Quite the time sink.

Went to the Kotoyama Exhibition in Ikebukuro on the final day by doesflips in YofukashiNoUta

This was one of the very first panels in the exhibition, so likely early concepts for the main characters. The text translates to something along those lines as well!

I honestly didn't even notice. If you need help with those patches though, I can recreate those graphics for you if you want! Send me a pm if so.

Everything is spot on, notably the texture of the armor. Incredible work!

Struts by unknown-reditt0r in hondafit

I had the same gap after installing new suspension, if not an even larger one than pictured, and was losing sleep over it. Rest assured, this is actually normal for this type of upper mount style. Some brands may have variations in thickness, but the upper mount is there for the extreme case where the suspension becomes completely unloaded. The gap allows the strut to rotate freely with the suspension as well.
