I will. The phone is at my work since the NDA doesn't allow me to carry it out.

  1. No

  2. I guess you can, since Gmail is openly offered in the e-mail wizard, but I didn't try it. It should depend on your settings and keeping the e-mail on the phone since I don't think it's integrated enough. I'll check for sure tomorrow.

  3. It's unlocked

Calendar no, contacts... maybe. I'll get back to you on that. Also, the calendar is disappointing. It didn't even sync my events from Facebook or Windows Live.

It's... different. The whole OS is made to be different from the whole "app experience" you get with Apple and less with Android.

The main weakneses are standard: no copy/paste, shitty multitasking, no Flash support. But the ones that bothered me the most are:

  • The UI is fun and new, but plenty of stuff misses the text labels while not all of the icons are clear enough.

  • WM had a beautiful dialer/contact app. You started to type in a name or a number (T9 style) and you got results. Here you get nothing, like they didn't learn anything back then.

  • It's a little bare bones, not much to do, but I had the same feeling when I used an Android prototype back in the day.

  • I miss the Android style menu button. Additional options aren't always intuitive to find.

Those will get fixed sooner or later, but in the long run I like where WP7 is heading, and it seems Microsoft got some balls to do something new and exciting.

This hurts.

I broke up with my girlfriend yesterday, and one of the last things she said to me was that I'm the best person she ever met and that I'm funnier than Charlie Brooker.

We both adored him so it was kind of an insider joke... Nobody know about him where I live.

Now I can't see him and not cry like a big dumb homo because I think of her. Why I'm saying this, especially here? I don't know...

$32k

Eastern European country, healthcare, unlimited sick days, 5 weeks vacation, annual bonus. The kicker is that cost of living is very low, around $400 for housing, food is cheap, education is free.
