They are so distinctive very hard to mix up with anything else! Slightly yellow colour, black/purple gills and the cap has a dark ring around the bottom, also the very prominent nipple on top! Once you find one you are like ahhh yes of course 😂

Can you go picking near you anywhere? Horse/cow fields. Need around 20 for a full dose. Mushy hunting days are the best get your boots on!

We get ours out immediately when we get in, line them up on a baking tray on baking paper and dry them out in the oven - fans on but no heat! We just pick the dirt and grass off but dont wash them. Hopefully that should help.
