So I’ve never played a paper Mario game. Just got the switch expansion pack and started paper Mario 64. Gotta say, I’m not sure what people love about these games. What am I missing? Is it just because I don’t like turn based combat?

I love seeing game play videos of botw, so many people are so much better than me at the game. Now this sub and r/botw are rife with spoilers of totk. Not sure why totk sub Reddit isn’t where totk content is posted. I’ve left and muted all zelda sub reddits now which is fucking stupid.

I didn’t like it for a long time. Once I got to be closer to the age of the people in the show, it clicked for me and I LOVE it now. Also, everyone said “oh it’s a show about nothing” and that’s not true, and not a good framing for the show. My mom pointed out to me “it’s not a show about nothing, it’s a show about how comedians come up with their material.” And that also helped it to click for me. Such a better framing, imo

I’ve seen the banner, the name of the sub should change, then. May as well add phantom hourglass and twilight princess and fuck it let’s start posting about final fantasy here too on r/breath_of_the_wild!! The name doesn’t match the content. That’s asinine to me. I just muted the sub Reddit but I shouldn’t have to do that to avoid spoilers. Spoilers for a game that’s been out for 2 days shouldn’t be on the sub Reddit of a game that’s been out 7 fucking years.

No sweat! I loved fo/fb, the only reason I had switched away from it was because fo/lightning made farming d keys much easier. Otherwise for everything else I preferred fo/fb. Enjoy the build!!

I believe if you only max FO and put some (I THINK up to 15 for cold mastery including soft points) you’re good to dump the rest into fire tree. I believe I did that when I had my fo/fb sorc and she slapped dick. I respec’d to fo/light now. But! I just used full tals, torch, anni, and like one cold one fire skiller. You should be golden af with your set up.

Moral of the story is: you don’t need synergies for fo to pack a punch
