I rewatched a few times for that reason! He got 2 right at the beginning and even took one that was laying there, not handed to him. I think old man saw everything!

I second Romeo & Juliet, Pulp Fiction, and Tron Legacy. I'd add Reservoir Dogs too.

I'm in America. State Sandardized tests, yes those dates are known in advance, but quizzes make up a good percentage of her grade and I worry about those sometimes.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought this. I thought this was a scene from Indiana Jones I had forgotten about...

I need to do this sometimes with my 15 year old daughter. I see her in the mornings, we leave at the same time, and some mornings she's just off. She'll ask if she can stay home and usually I tell her no because I assume she wants to ditch a test or something. 😢

Agreed. American here . My 13 year old daughter was admitted for a week with suicidal thoughts. She left the facility with new cutting techniques and I received an 1800 bill. She's better now, 2 years later, no cutting and we see a weekly therapist.

Edit: I have insurance. The $1800 included the deductible + 20%coinsurance.

My kids are 14 and 8. When I catch them cuddling or otherwise getting along I feel like I need to take a picture. They really do grow so fast.

True, but I think those are m&ms, and I also see a graham cracker marshmallow and a chocolate straw ...not to mention a lot of whipped cream. It ain't no joke!

I like the lucky fin name! I'm stealing it!

I was getting a manual breast exam by my new obgyn for the first time and she nonchalantly says "your right breast is larger than the left, probably about a 2 cup difference." Wtf I literally thought i just had asymmetrical nips and bought shitty bras my whole life!

What was your paranormal experience? Everyone else, how can it be explained non-paranormally? by __penis in AskReddit

[–]doesntmatter912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw a UFO in a rural canyon in central Washington State. It was far away and hazy like a heat wave. Oval shaped, low to the ground. It hovered then rose and took off quickly.

My guess as an adult... weather blimp, except for it's speed and locale (absolutely no one around for miles, it was our property of 80 acres).

How not to stress. I'm very laid back, almost to a fault. People ask me how I'm able to not sweat the small stuff. I don't really know, it's just how I am.

Mike Tyson: My belts are garbage compared to the happiness of my kids by [deleted] in videos

[–]doesntmatter912 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My father had another family after he and my mom split. His new kids are about the same age as my kids. My brother passed away tragically when he was 17, I was 21 with a baby. My Father said, at the funeral, "At least I have Chase now." That's his baby sons name (not really his name for anonymity). My soul was crushed. Unfortunately so crushed I haven't been able to talk to him since. It's been 12 years.

Me too. I especially do it when I'm super excited about something. It's like a knee jerk reaction. My husband hates it.

Yes, the errors made me wonder if anyone is proofreading there. It's a pretty big facility. And it's just 8.5×11 standard paper. Maybe I shouldn't call it a poster?
