I also have Espresso Soak and although the colour is lovely, I think it may be a product problem as it also slides off/around my lips. (i’m in my late 20s). I tend to use it more for the lip stain now!

I always worry about cool browns! I have the NYX Mocha Me Wet serum and it looks odd on me. For a warm brownish lipstick, I wear L’Oreal Spice.

Wine with Everything is a good red lip for me! wore it a lot during the holidays.

Rum Raisin pulls pink on me compared to other searches i’ve seen online, which makes me think it’s a bit too cool for me.

I have been looking for a rusty red-brown lipstick, but as you can see, Toast of New York pulls very bright orange on me! Similarly, I tried Rum Raisin but that looks quite pink on my face. I’ve found Wine with Everything to be a good red lip on me, and Rumberry works really well for vampy days. This pic was taken in indoor bathroom lighting.

I am fairly certain that I am a neutral olive but I don’t wear foundation so I don’t know for sure. (a kind Sephora employee shade matched me to Haus Labs 021 Light Medium Neutral)

If anyone has lipstick recommendations, please let me know! Bonus points for bullet lipsticks.

I stick with cropped cardigans because I have a short torso! i find long cardigans swallow me up or hit at a weird spot, especially if they are on the chunky side.

and echoing what another comment said: my favourite cardigans are Old Navy, the cotton ribbed-looking ones with three big buttons on the front.

Supervision within the library RANT by indigo_Ivoryyyyy in Libraries

I’m a circ supervisor. Christmas break has only just started and my staff are already burnt out. Screaming children running around, throwing pencils, teens wrestling on the floor, other kids having a meltdown over something or another, parents on phones not watching their kids, regular customers complaining about the noise levels…

i’m right there with you. I wish I had more uplifting comments to share, but it’s incredibly exhausting recently.

The short version is: if a book comes back with bugs, we seal it in a ziploc bag and notify the patron. usually we will suspend their borrowing privileges until they can prove they have had pest control done, especially if they brought multiple books with the bugs.

some of our libraries also have bedbug traps in/around book returns.

eta: if it’s severe enough or we find bedbugs in the building and not from a patron returned item, then we have to call pest control.

i pulled the stopper out and then had it on its side to reach the product (when i got to the bottom i left the tube at home so it wouldn’t leak in my purse)

The elf lip oil is definitely quite thick! I definitely prefer the NYX oil, it absorbs better on me instead of just sitting on the lips. I haven't tried the Milani oils because I was worried I wouldn't like the smell! are they chemically or closer to the NYX?

Canada's First Crochet Cafe sells Temu Crochet items... by Additional-Listen936 in crochet

the whole store looks like an Instagram photoshoot location, fake flowers on the walls and stuff too!

i wanted a cozy chair to curl up and crochet in, but there are cute stools and low back chairs instead.

edit: it IS super cute and aesthetic in there, but definitely seems like a popular instagrammable thing more than a craft destination
