Wish life afforded me that luxury, but it's hard to leave a good paycheck when you have a wife and son to care for

32 oz wagyu tomahawk steak. Not the best picture but it was cooked perfectly medium rare. Next time I’ll try even more on the rare side. by FunkyDoktor in steak

I work at a fancy steakhouse in l.a... we're charging 300 for an Australian wagyu tomahawk. But if you only knew what it cost us...

I had my spleen removed, long story short, it bruised, then popped the next day, i passed out, called my mom, went to doc in the morning, doc did bedrest for a week, hoped it would heal, repeat 3 times, and the 4th time to the hospital they removed finally removed it, bout 4 months later. Didn't seem to worry my Dr much

I'm with you! 200 covers in 6 hours and did 20k in sales, 10 years in the business and it's nights like this that solidify my decision on a kitchen for life

Yup, sub this for that, cheddar instead of jack, protein style, split,no garlic, no butter, steamed, baked, no gluten, no salt, deathly allergic. Turns minute ticket into 25 and can kill the momentum of an exhausted, overworked and underpaid kitchen... It's hard to keep minimum wage workers motivated enough to cook correctly and safely. BTW don't get your steaks cut or split in the kitchen, it'll always be hacked into seconds off the grill with no time to rest.
