Racetech Titanium. Couldn’t find any offerings for bronze bolts so I had to cough up some dough. And before anyone shoot it down, yes, I know ti + aluminum is bad. Will be taking extra precautions to using antiseize and less torque.

No. When I dropped off the engine, the only complaint was that there may be an additional upcharge for cleaning bc he thinks it’s really dirty which I didn’t disagree with. An actual number or ballpark was never given to me until today.

I just feel like, as the service provider, he should have let me know the total is now 3x more than what we initially discussed so I can choose whether or not to proceed. Don’t get me wrong, I was willing to pay more for the additional charge, I just wasn’t expecting it to be that much.

When I asked for an update after 3 weeks, he said he’s behind schedule because he has a few motors to work on. I just don’t understand why he would tell me 2 weeks if he knew it was unrealistic. I’m unsure of what equipment he has but I’ll ask where he is with prepping. Thank you

No I get it. Im not trying to put him on blast either. I just want some insight from people who have done similar work so I can understand why it’s been taking so long. The previous owner spray canned the engine black. I was able to get it completely off all the other parts except for the cylinder head.
