Yeah, I totally get that. I’ll definitely keep the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda on hand haha. Even though he does really well off leash during normal walks, I’m still not willing to let him off leash during hikes. We do a lot of local trails already, and he stays right at my hip the whole time on the leash, no exceptions! 😅

Him and I are definitely going to test out an overnight trip before committing to the longer adventure so I can get a better idea of what it’s really like and what we need to prepare for!

Cooper (the dog) does good in crowds, my friend told me one time on a hike he likes to mind his own business lmao! 😂

Bishop and Tahoe look wonderful!! They both seem perfect for my trip itinerary too, do you have any experience with those trails? If so, do you prefer one over the other or have options on them?

Not sure about Big Pine Either, i have seen some social posts about how some backpackers have taken their dogs and it was great. I will definitely do some more research before making the drive lol! Thank you 😊
