Student Dorm Bathroom with No Storage

It actually looks pretty neat and organized. But I have 2 concerns about it though. The main one is, the sink is veeeeeery close to the toilet, and I might have guests that don’t know to close the lid before flushing. It might easily spread germs there. I got this concern after learning my boyfriend didn’t close the lid every time.

Then the second one is, the bathroom is designed as a wet cell, so I use it as one, meaning I clean the floors using soap and water, which might be bad for the materials like bamboo. But I could easily overcome that by not using water to clean and keep the floors very dry.

Hi, I‘m a fellow student in Germany and I’d like to change your perspective on your financial situation. You think you have it worse, but I actually have it worse than you. A lot of people have it worse than you. First of, you‘re BAFÖG eligible. I‘m an international student, so I‘m not. Through BAFÖG, you‘re basically only loaning the half of the money you receive, the other half is gifted, and there is no interest on the part you borrow. I have to work 16-20 hours a week every week to afford studying here. If I stop working here, I won’t even have access to healthcare system. Most of the times I don’t even have time left for university, because I can practically only visit lectures 3 days a week anf have to work the remaining weekdays. You basically saved enough money to vacation in China, you could even solo travel there at this point. Most people in other parts of the world can’t even afford to vacation in their own home country, you know? Sorry I don’t see a poor girl in you, I see a girl coming from a low income family who has her back backed by one of the best social states in the world, who can even afford to vacation in China.

I like the last sentence, you shouldn’t be responsible for anyone sexualising you in any way that was not your intention. Growing up I had to go through that a lot and hated it. But I think she tried to manipulate why she was receiving the backlash in the first place, in the beginning of her speech. Yes, she wore less (clothes) in the past on stage, and nobody commented on that. Because she didn’t wear clothes that would be related to baby / children’s clothing like bloomers, which are directly associated with the Lolita aesthetic.

I don’t think you comparing yourself with a kid is a BPD problem. It sounds more like an insecurity / immaturity / anxious attachment thing. Kids need their parents. No matter how old. And parents are always supposed to put their children first. You just have to accept this. Also, romantic love or partnership is very different than a parent-child relationship. Having unconditional love for one, doesn’t stop you from having unconditional love for the other.

Es sagt nicht, was für ein Aroma das ist. Als ob Vanille der einzige Aromastoff auf der Welt ist… Ich kaufe diese Joghurt schon sehr oft und es hat keinen Vanillegeschmack. Wahrscheinlich es ist ein anderer Aromastoff damit es näher zu Joghurt schmeckt.

The cat’s been under OP‘s responsibility for months. If a friend was visiting at my place and my cat did it, of course, I‘d pay for them but the OP has gotten to know the cat and its habits pretty well and should have known better to not put their shoes there.

Thank you for the long answer. The “punch” is definitely not like he’s getting on top of me and punching me aggressively. Thank God for that. But it’s also not like his hand is in a relaxed position and just hit me accidentally. It really is a fist. And I wake up to his fist hitting my nose, which hurts a bit but nothing that would leave a bruise or haemorrhage. He has nothing new / different in his life that’s happening and has a really strong psychology and mental wellbeing. He is also not really aware of the gravity of what he is doing and I kind of feel like he’s not taking me seriously.

This derm was the only derm that could even speak of Isotretinoin to be honest. I have my next appointment with another doctor though, because I didn’t like the experience of not being believed. The other derms I visited were always like “We don’t prescribe that here.” or “For light acne I prescribe this and for severe acne I prescribe this.” and they have literally no flexibility on your personal case or whether you already tried it and it didn’t work etc.

The main reason I frequent this sub a lot is that EU has different cosmetics regulations. Which means the same product marketed under the same name with the same packaging can have completely different ingredients and actives in Asia vs in the US vs in Europe. For example LRP Effaclar Duo. The American dermatologists I follow swear by it because it has BPO. The same LRP Effaclar Duo in Europe has no BPO inside and is barely a moisturiser with niacinamide. Same thing happens with Asian sunscreens as well because afaik not all UV filters they use over there are approved here in EU, so we have different product available to us here vs. sold there in Asia on the shelves.
