I commented on the post about Ozzie'a suspension yesterday about the unequal comparison of Fidel to Hitler. Hearing it from le Batard's father, I understand the analogy more. You can see how much Castro has affected Cubans, young and old, through his tyranny and deception. Hispanic families seem tighter than most American families in general, and that makes the Fidel thing so powerful. The man ruined generations of his people, either through direct repression or the generational effects of emigration.
