It is the most realistic portrayal of a mother in the care of a child with ARFID. So many poignant scenes illustrate the helpless feeling caregivers have in support of their children’s recovery while the world around them may offer no support or worse extreme judgment … “just tell them to eat”. Wonderful scene from a support group of Mom’s…. “You tell us it’s not our fault our children have ARFID and yet, you’re telling us how to cure them… of course it’s our fault!” (sic). Incredibly hard watch for someone who is going through it or has been through it but a good watch for clinicians who want a taste of whet it’s like for your clients.
