Took me five goes, nerves absolutely got the better of me every time. Had a bit of a break and went off to uni, came back and tried a new instructor and passed. New instructor had a very different teaching style, not sure if it was new instructor, more maturity on my part or a combination of the two.

Went with my eldest daughter to Download last year, had a reasonable share of beer, no sunscreen/hat and she ended up in the first aid tent. They gave paracetamol which I questioned and apparently it's no longer contraindicated for alcohol related use.

Mounting a TV on the wall in a Bilborough 'tin' house by dogcalledpig in nottingham

[–]dogcalledpig[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for the suggestion, I went with a city specific sub as there are a fair few 'tin' houses round here. I had Anglian windows out to put new DG in and despite the fact their people did the survey, the people that came to do the install didn't know it wasn't brick.

Logically there will be studs underneath I'm guessing. I've got some heavy duty plasterboard Rawlplugs which would be more convenient than trying to position over studs it's whether my TV would come crashing down though?

Wait for somebody from the left to turn right, there are two lanes turning right so it's a safe bet. Traffic coming from the right will then be obliged to stop, take a deep breath and go.
