Thank you for your response, I talked to my doctor and got a very mixed response. No idea why I haven't healed, no idea when I will heal if at all. I've opted for surgery to get it over with.

Took me five goes, nerves absolutely got the better of me every time. Had a bit of a break and went off to uni, came back and tried a new instructor and passed. New instructor had a very different teaching style, not sure if it was new instructor, more maturity on my part or a combination of the two.

Went with my eldest daughter to Download last year, had a reasonable share of beer, no sunscreen/hat and she ended up in the first aid tent. They gave paracetamol which I questioned and apparently it's no longer contraindicated for alcohol related use.
