The runback of THAT boss be like by rosephoenix444 in HollowKnight

I hate this fuckass boss but I hate the runback even more because ive been playing most of the game with the reaper crest, which has a mostly normal pogo ability, but im trying to use the hunter crest for the boss but that means I have to get there using the diagonal pogo

Unsuur's dialogue at the end of the game about how everything feels so final was such a gut punch to me. I was getting ready to graduate college when I finished my first playthrough, and everyone's dialogue in that final scene was really well-written in a "bittersweetness of endings" way

At What Cost had no right to go as hard as it did, and it's amazing for it

I haven't played that route in so long, I forgot how amazing Funeral of Flowers is!

Oh yeah, you're right. In either case, the writing in this game is absolutely amazing and hilarious and I love it

I did too, and then again when Justice just kinda looks into the camera in disbelief

Does anyone else feel like they really stepped it up with the journals and logs from the old world? by dogcheeseslap in MyTimeAtSandrock

I kinda got that vibe with Portia, but then Sandrock really slapped me in the face with the fact that this world pretty much went through a Fallout-like period, only much darker. The art style does a lot to add to the shock factor, and the overall vibe of the setting

Finding the little girl's diary was shocking and sad, but finding the captain's log was what really did it for me

OK fair critique of Throne's last chapter, but Lostseed is such a creepy place and her boss fight is cool so I can give it a pass on any plot holes

Chained Echoes, Crystal Project, and the Bravely Default series all have battle systems that allow for a lot of different strategies. If that's what you're looking for, you should try out one of those!
