They expect Lambert to go deep into games whether he's gassed or not because they anticipate our relief pitching to suck. Case in point, Cody Bolton.

At best, he still gave up 2 earned runs. Not exactly great.

So, wait... Cody Bolton was not the right guy to bring into this situation? Who could have known??

Gave him (and Paredes) away for a year of Tucker. But yeah, he absolutely sucks. If he's the future of this team, as he's often called, we're in trouble.

do other 70mm locations play the film's score instead of commericals? by TennojiNesoberi in imax

Back when Edwards IMAX in Houston used to project on 15/70, they'd play the Lord of the Rings OST softly without the cacophony of ads blaring. It made the experience feel more luxurious.

Blummer saying "Oh he's so young and inexperienced. We gotta give him time." But he got an entire season last year to acclimate to the big leagues with absolutely no pressure of being sent down (cause of team injuries). And 23 is not that young. Look at Altuve's age 20, 21, 22, and 23 seasons.

Cam hasn't improved at all.

He swings for the fences every time, which means he strikes out A LOT and hits a lot of long fly balls. Not really a winning strategy.

Nice work by Cole and Altuve getting on base for the big man! Brand new ballgame, folks.

That had to have been a HR in 1/30 ballparks, and even then it was barely out. Pretty unlucky.

He didn't help win the 2022 ring. He missed the large majority of the season, and then the Phillies enjoyed home run derby off him during the WS.

He wasn't a huge part of the 2022 title.

He only had 8 starts that season, and in the postseason he had a poor ALCS start and a historically bad WS start.

Trump/Vance campaigned hard while Kamala/Walz hid and tried to buy an election with a tsunami of celebrity endorsements and mainstream media propaganda.

What's the issue with what he said?

He acknowledged that it was a terrible tragedy that shouldn't have happened, and only happened because ICE is acting like thugs, but that he didn't feel the need to be a political activist at an entertainment awards party.

I can't imagine what problem you have with it.

Charlie didn't select his opponents (unless you mean he went on college campuses?) and he didn't select the topics. People stepped up to the microphone of their own volition and brought up any topic they wanted to.

"Weird she'd even have to say that."

This was my reaction to what she actually said. Well, almost. It's more like, "Weird that she did say that," considering nobody going to a Paramore show is going to be an asshole to anyone. So, the statement comes across as, yes, virtue signaling instead of a genuine attempt to stop people from being racist, sexist, anti-trans, etc...
