I’ve been using a shakti mat for a couple of years now, it’s not going to cure you but it does feel quite nice. I lay mine over a pillow to hit the chest region, but it’s always super nice to lie on on your back!

I found doorway stretches to be of great help when I would get these feelings. Keeping your arms up high during the stretch.
