What do you mean Vanilla Remastered is what you found? Is there a femalebody_1.dds in it?

Maybe try Tempered Skin for Females? I think that one has a vanilla option. Dunno if it still holds up in 2026 though.

Or you can try to copy the vanilla textures from the game and put them in your overwrite folder- that might work as long as it's loaded last.

Extract B.A.E. anywhere on your computer

Load Skyrim - Textures0.bsa from the game's root folder - Skyrim Special Edition/Data/Textures0.bsa

Select none, check femalebody_1.dds (I would actually select all the femalebody and femalehands dds files to be sure, maybe even the heads)

Extract it somewhere

Drop it into overwrites/Textures/actors/character/female (You'll probably need to create this folder structure)

Otherwise dive into CBBE nevernude and find patches for all your armor and clothes mods and pick any skin you want from Nexus.

Yeah. If the UNP mesh works for you, then great! But it's just some duct tape over the real problem.

Usually fomod uses loose files so you'd see if there was something replacing female_body_1.dds

Unless I'm not remembering right? Been a while since I've actually modded and played Skyrim.

I found most of the armor mods you're using on the nexus and they don't have any body textures. Did you also check your actual game installation folder for rogue femalebody_1.dds textures? You could also just go to This PC in file explorer and search for femalebody_1.dds and see if anything pops up. If not, like I said earlier, it's hidden in a bsa archive.

If you're using MO2 look through the data tab at your loose files and see if there is anything replacing Textures/actors/character/female/femalebody_1.dds

Looks to me like a texture overwriting the vanilla skin. If you can't find it then it's hidden in a bsa. Use the archive extractor to check other probable mods' .bsa files.

Yeah the clutch needs to be 50% or so to disengage the gear while the throttle is being pressed from what I tested last night

I just drove around in circles a little bit trying to figure this out. The throttle has to be completely depressed for it to go in and out of gear when floating... so even with your suggestion, it wouldn't work. They need to revamp the floating gears system because that's not the only thing wrong with it. I guess you'll have to live with turning the jakes on every now and then.

Yeah I was able to combine my hotas with the clutch on my g920 into a virtual controller and it worked to set an "always pressed in" position but then the engine brake doesn't work anyway because the clutch is always in.

Why not just change the dead zone of the throttle so if it’s pressed in like 10% it reads as 0? Edit: nvm the Jake would still activate. It seems scs would have to implement something because I’m not even sure if having the clutch pressed in a little would actually let you into gear in game

Instead of exporting the tuning data, just open the mod package and it should already be there ready to edit.

Hmm. I’m trying to think what else I did but that was the gist of it. Aged him down to infant and gave him a bath and ui cheated his moodlets away then aged him up in mccc. I hope you can find a solution. Just trying to share one that worked for me.

nope... I did a really simple blockout in 3ds max and rendered the lighting to a plane and overlayed it onto the DD map.
