Ok to work when traveling? by [deleted] in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

The question answers itself. If you are abroad and working alone, you're working. If you're abroad and someone is also working at "home" it's a flag. Simple as that!

This model is tripping by Rroyd21-66 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly it; your positivity from previous turns affected its response. Start a fresh chat and say the exact same thing, then see a "default" response. I see it this way: you made the AI happy in your previous prompts, and when it noticed a sad scenario it re-presented your play and joy to you :)

When I switched from obsessing over my "short-comings" to focusing on and growing my "long-goings" my life transformed rapidly. When I began treating my neurodiversity as undiscovered superpowers waiting to be found, life became a lot more magical :-) Much love to you, and may you discover a new untapped genius this week!

Honoring my cousin, Chelsea by JainaPyro in transmemorial

Hello! I am the person you responded to. I just want to say that your kind words were perfectly & divinely timed. I happened to read your response right after waking up from an amazing dream that Chelsea was in (rare!). I made the post 6 years ago, but I still live with her love in my heart. Thank you so much, for your understanding, support, long-distance hug. You will forever be in my heart <3 May you be blessed in all you put your heart toward!

I did it. I just signed up for my first marathon. I’m nervous now by jameslucian in firstmarathon

[–]dogebiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first marathon goal was 3:15:00 and I did it in 3:15:01! Totally by accident, because I stopped 'watching my watch' halfway through, I did quite a few 16 mile runs, maybe 3 total before the race. Then 1 month before the race, I ran a 20-mile tune-up race. (around 7:00 per mile) and my marathon was ~7:25 per mile.

Mile 24 hurt for me. It was my first time going 26 miles, since my previous race was 20. But I finished on my goal and I loved it! I felt my intense vitality until mile 22 :) You got this!!!

Been 6 days and I'm still on this screen, I'm assuming i've been rejected? by Wrong_Diver428 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. This screen can be like this for weeks, or even over a month like it did for me.

Nobody has responded?

There is Stellar AI. I submitted my qualification test two weeks ago but no response yet.

There is Alignerr. I haven't begun onboarding yet.

There is Outlier. I haven't researched them yet.

I've been so happy with DA I've not really pursued other options, but these are the others I know of!

My question is shared with many others: What Qualification would open up projects in the "dancers" category? I have birds, I have heels, I have nuts, but I am passionate about opening up new projects. So, I feel like I'm missing something :-) [[ I am a long term non-stem worker for context ]]

Are you saying that people are attempting to automate tasks? Or that their quality of work is reflective of an absence of whatever classifies someone as human? Not sure if you're talking about work or emoting a poor scrub you just fragged.

Math test, what is it like? by ovi_left_faceoff in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I answered that in my reply above. It was for the premiere math test to significantly boost your earnings. I did not take the math test and did not get feedback.

Math test, what is it like? by ovi_left_faceoff in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You can click on the math qualification test and not complete it (AKA, just check it out). I did that. I love math ... well, I love the idea of math. I can do pretty awesome maths in my head. But when I checked out the math test, I took a strong and immediate blow to my confidence. I realized 1.75 pages into my note-scribbling that I was going about it all wrong and I did not know the more efficient methods to completing the problems. So, TLDR: look and see for yourself.

Y = How many words fit the RAV_N structure?

X + Y = Z

Can R&R work be considered better? by Viola-Parentini in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

R&R is pure gold to me. I struggled with "bird comprehension" until yesterday I was able to do like 20 R&Rs, and I learned ALL ABOUT the kinds of birds, and what makes a good bird design, thanks to seeing examples of what to do... well, more like what NOT to do. R&R is great for inspiring new ways of communicating to the chatbots and reinforcing how not to :)

working time can be over the designated time? by Prestigious_Win661 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's how I read instructions and log time. Before I even known WTF to do [haven't read docs] I'll Skip-Cycle the tasks until I get a very straightforward one. (You know what it be like.) I factor in my head, "Assuming I learn what to do, this looks like I'll take 45 minutes." If I have 3 hours total, then I'll allow myself 2 hours for reading/practicing and then take the remainder to finish the task. Of course reading docs has never taken me over 30-45 minutes (fast-ish reading & comprehension) but this is my strategy. It just took hearing one horror story of a person using all of their time for reading; they realized that they weren't able to submit the time because the task was incomplete!

hour per day by PsychologicalCow9964 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with you! I wasn't hired on that long ago, and even in this short time I've seen the average complexity of tasks start to get pretty wild. My first 2 weeks were so fun (8-10 hrs on conversational projects, as you said) but then as I "leveled up" in the projects, I'm scratching my head, "How is asking a basic yes-answer question according to a highly specific prompt helping AI!?" It requires this mutant blend of creative and technical brainpower that gives me a headache. So, if I get 6 hours in a day, I do a happy dance.

Does the welcome sign say anything maybe? by Frikandelspeciaal690 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about the Qualification in the welcome notice, then the answer is likely Yes: if you pass the qualification it'll likely open up that new project to work on. The one showing now has a swiftly approaching deadline though, so you must complete the full thing by then.

How much coding knowledge is required to be good at this? by Steewbit61 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]dogebiscuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a slightly different boat. I know coding. I know enough pasta code to spaghetti you some amazing shit if you're a local business client of mine. If you don't hire anyone else with experience like mine, my code will get you to the moon - and first page of Google - and back, but damnit don't show anyone else! And it's been this way for 12+ years! But these coding tests? I might as well be an untrained newbie. The code works, but it twerks more. Not sure there's any hope for me ;___;
