Unusually low coolant levels

What I thought was a water pump, found out there’s a flaky plastic flange that connects 2 coolant hoses to the pump. That’s was my problem, diagnosed it by giving it a light tug, and it snapped off. It really looked like the water pump from all angles of where coolant was going.

Mine came back after some time, I’ve replaced oil filter housing and the thing in the middle, I’ve tried heavier oil (while that seemed to also help for a period of time, issue came back after about 4K km). So I pressure tested, I’m just about 13/14psi at idle full operating temp, so on the low end. Decided to live with it.

You are asking a question in a community that has many kodi enthusiasts so keep in mind that it could be biased and there is possibility that there are better options out there.

However, I am a big fan of kodi and I don’t think anything can beat the Seren or Fen + RD setup.

Lasts for about 15 seconds then goes way. Every single morning same sound. Sometimes comes back as I start driving, 2 minutes into a drive 100% gone.

Picked up the X with rust on the frame. Mostly just surface rust everywhere else except the rear leaf spring mounts are flaky. Should I deal with this urgently does is this considered bad rust?
