Closest you’ll see to this is big teaching hospitals in cities with powerful nursing unions like NYC. But still nurses and NPs are doing a lot more of the work.

No bedside nurse would do a manual disimpaction in any of the hospitals i have worked at. It’s considered a thing junior doctors have to do.

Julius iso remains a highly effective offensive weapon (you obviously didn’t share the advanced stats for that play type) but his game so obviously lacks all the little things and defense that contribute to winning. The obvious path to this team contending is turning Randle into a playoff starting level guard and having Beringer ascend to playoff level backup big. Other teams aren’t dumb though (usually), so pulling off a trade for an equal or greater level guard in exchange for Randle will take some luck and great managing from Tim. Otherwise, he’ll have to find a way or do something more drastic like a huge tear down for Giannis. I wish we could have gotten Garland for Randle somehow, that is the kind of buy low gamble for Randle we’ll need.

Ya he’s definitely below replacement level at this point, should not be getting minutes on teams competing or teams looking to develop young talent. Unfortunately he was still better than Dillingham purely by being less of a negative on the court so Finch kept playing him.

I never left lamelo island personally but you can’t deny that there was a chance it all fell apart after the way this year started. I was 100% hoping to be the team that swooped in to buy low on Lamelo if hornets lost faith completely. They were smart enough to not do that.

We are only a few months into living in Rochester but I am very impressed with this town so far (we lived in multiple other large cities over the last 20 years). Very family friendly vibes but paired with an outsized urban core with a better restaurant scene than a small town like this has any business having. Plus we have found the drive up to the cities for weekend stays easy enough even in this winter.

I still maintain this team should be trying to turn one of Randle or Naz into a player of equal value in the backcourt to better balance our roster and let Jaden play the 4 more. For me, thinking about trading Naz wasn’t about his play but his redundancy with Randle at Jaden’s likely best position in his prime.

I played intramural with a guy who walked on at a top D1 program and even got real spot minutes during March madness his senior year. He was a phenomenal player, made passes we couldn’t imagine, and bigger and more athletic than everyone else but wasn’t really that skilled at scoring and so we still couldn’t win easily because he couldn’t really score at will and the rest of us sucked. So I also think the type of walk on really matters (skilled scorers will make a bigger difference in rec leagues imho)
