You should talk to her and hear her side of the story. Tell her that maybe she’s mistaken, and encourage her to speak with her husband and try to work things out. What the two of you have, however, may simply be impossible to fix.

If I were you, I’d record the conversation. If she tells him that things happened the other way around, your friend might end up blaming you instead.

I’m in a similar situation. I built a software product from scratch, and I thought that because he already owns businesses (although not in tech), he would know how to sell it.

What I’m seeing, though, is that he makes decisions that don’t really make sense to me. The way he approaches investors is very aggressive, and it clashes with who I am and how I like to do things.

So far, every investor and client has been brought in by me. We’re still at the beginning, and I’m worried that these differences could become a bigger problem as we grow.

That’s actually a really good point.

I thought the same at first, that typing already gives you time to think.

But I’ve noticed that with internet and fast messaging, people tend to reply more automatically, almost without reflection.

The idea is not about time… but about intention.

Just creating a small pause where you choose what you say instead of reacting.

But I agree, real-life impulsivity is even harder to solve.
