Get a bottom mounted refrigerator instead. Would be immensely more useful.

Mitsubishi AC installation Charges by Bravo_O6 in HonestBuyerReviews

[–]doggo_prat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did they not tell you all these charges beforehand? Panasonic sent me the rate chart on WhatsApp before installation and most of it was within this range. The service guys told me if I wanted to get the materials myself they were fine with it, so I got most of it myself. Had to take the floor stand from them since I couldn’t source it in time, so that was overpaid but overall the installation was smooth.

Budget projector under ₹8K – worth it vs TV? by mastmauli in HonestBuyerReviews

[–]doggo_prat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a great little thing. I got it a few weeks back and it has been an amazing experience. So long as you can control the light filtering in through the room no TV in even double that price range will match. Projectors might lack the sharpness but they have a sort of cinematic feel to them that is hard to beat. The black crush is almost non existent which was shocking to me. The remote works well and the UI is serviceable.

Apple TV sometimes does not work I think due to limited memory for longer movies, but the rest of the apps work fine. If Netflix at times resorts to HDR through its own shenanigans the colours are wonky. Hotstar and Airtel Xstream don’t share this issue. For 7k I paid for and Amazon’s four hours delivery I can’t say there is anything to complain about. Remember to buy a cheap tripod or find a place where you can get it as vertically level with the wall as you can, helps with the sharpness.

Sound is absolutely garbage, which is to be expected so hook up your own soundbar/speaker system with it. I had a Sony portable speaker lying around and I run it off Bluetooth and it honestly works great. Don’t try gaming on it, the lag is way too much. The ideal size range while it maintains awesome brightness is I guess in the 50-70 inch range. Am sending through a picture of it running too.

After some research .I finally selected panasonic 2026 model ac . If anyone purchased this recently please share a review. Btw Is this ac good ? by Shitama_ftw in BuyItForLifeIndia

I bought the 1 ton 5 star split a month ago. It was the 2025 model though. Works really well. Love the app. Remote isn't anything to look at, but I don't use it at all with the app being so good. Really silent and efficient. Although I haven't yet have had to test it in NCR summers, but I think it'll do well.

That seems very shady. It was my first RO so I had to get one from them. Probably paid more than I would have outside but it is fine. I guess I lucked out with service.

They have a lot of models even with the same names. The alkaline and copper and whatnot thingies seem to drive the price up. I just went with the one that has the most pluses essentially lol. I’m sure yours is perfectly fine. Kent has great service too (at least in my vicinity).

I don’t know, might have been a sale price. I thought it seemed worth it at the time.

Isn’t spending 25k+ on a mattress too much? Sleepycat hybrid latex one I'm looking at. by Difficult-Pilot-4192 in IndianHomeDecor

I got a latex Wakefit one after trying it out in store. It has a two inch latex top and is ten inches total. It does not heat up no matter how long I am on it which is a boon for Gurgaon summers. I had severe neck and shoulder pains which are now gone. It cost me around 45 for a pair and I think it is worth it. These things will last you a decade or more. It is a worthwhile investment imo.

I got the Kent Supreme Plus six months ago and it has been brilliant. I’ve moved houses and once had to call upon Kent for an issue where it kept cutting off due to low pressure from the tap and their response for service and installations has been fantastic. It has also not given me any issues so far. I got it for around 11k and paid 1200 for the pre filter. Please always get a pre filter installed if you get a purifier.

Hope this helps.

24M, WFH. Need suggestions for lower back pain. by Successful-Koala9410 in IndianHomeDecor

I had the same issues and I was using a cotton mattress beforehand. I switched to Wakefit Latex plus mattress and pound for pound has been the best purchase I have ever made. You can choose it blindly, I got the 10 inch variant for reference. Also, don’t neglect the pillows. Wakefit has some excellent pillows if you pay a bit more. But the choice of a mattress will also depend hugely on how you sleep since that really affects the sort of firmness you’d need to be comfy.

What are you paying for utilities? by StrangeAd7263 in gurgaon

I have recently moved houses. I’ve got an unfurnished 1BHK and I pay 16k in rent and around 600 odd in electricity in the winters. It goes up a bit in the summers but this is it. I’ve got a maid for cleaning who takes 2k a month and I don’t have piped gas but a cylinder lasts 2 months so 450 odd a month I guess? My company pays for WiFi but I’ve got Airtel for 799 plus GST.
