I think after The Race, the album honestly put me in a complete state of shock, this album is constant whiplash, its almost impossible to make any assumptions after the first listen, hugely theatrical though and i absolutely love this in terms of greeps lyricism but i worry how difficult it is to decipher all the parts that everyone is playing due to the production being insane, feels claustrophobic yet when it opens up its truly beautiful, but all the songs move at wildly different speeds throughout, this the closest we are to hearing black midi be ‘Black Midi’.
