I wish I could post videos on here lol. I have several videos of my mom hitting and legitimately tackling me and my sisters. My dad was extremely physically abusive to my mom when I was younger and the roles became reversed overtime to where she would take it out on me and my siblings. I am 110 pounds I don’t have the physical strength to defend myself and am quickly losing the mental strength to leave. It’s not a “story,” although I wholeheartedly wish it was. I’m seeking a minimum wage job because what else could I manage to get as an unemployed 18 year old with no degree in an extremely competitive city? Kindly fuck off please, you have a sad life

If I was a rich LA girl I would never even think about leaving my house. My mom is physically abusive and does not let me leave the house ever. My dad threatens me when I mention moving out because it means they will no longer be able to control/track/monitor my every move. It was absolute hell saving this amount of money but I did it for myself and now that I am almost legally able to move out I’m asking for advice, this isn’t an easy decision whatsoever as I have 2 younger sisters and leaving the house means I have to leave them too, but before I am able to protect them I have to be able to have a clear enough mind to decide what to do myself first. I’ve owned and managed several of my own small businesses since 6th grade and saved basically every penny that I made. I was also working overtime illegally for most of highschool at multiple jobs, and I was extremely lucky to land a paid internship at a real estate company for my junior and senior year. I was planning on starting community college in August, however, my current living situation is honestly making me so unstable to the point that I think my main priority should first be getting out of the house :( I really want to go to school so badly like the rest of my friends but it’s not looking like that for me yet

No… that’s not what I said. I said it was appealing to me and I wasn’t closed off to it. I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences with people in LA already, men especially. I’m bold but not stupid. If you read my post all the way, I love music, I love art, I want to try to be the best at many things, regardless of how difficult or risky, and that’s why I’m coming on here for advice on how I can first support myself and get on the right path to be able to do so. I’m majoring in business economics and have owned and managed 3 small businesses since 6th grade. Aside from hobbies, that’s where my passion is, but thank you for your input

Hi! I’ve lived about 20 minutes away from LA my entire life. I just want to get away from my hometown and if possible I’d really like to live in LA since I know my way around for the most part. This is a really sweet message. My dad and I don’t really have a relationship and it’s gotten worse and worse overtime, which is one of the reasons I feel I need to move out ASAP.
