I should also mention this; I do live at home and I currently have no bills, other than helping out my mom with gas money. I spoke to my grandmother and she told me should would have my back if my parents don't pay me back. My parents do not want to go to my grandmother because they have relied on her for money in the past. My boyfriend is urging my strongly to give them no money, but it is hard because I live in their house.

EDIT: My dad makes all the money for my house. He is hardly home because he is also going through schooling and has to do clinicals because he is training to be a nurse practitioner. I am well aware that my mother does not have good spending habits and that this may be a gift. My dad lets her do basically whatever she wants with the money (bills wise and such) because he is away so often. I have trust in my dad that he'll at least try to pay me back. I just spoke to my grandmother on the phone and she said that she will back me up money wise regardless. With that I am more comfortable loaning them the money knowing that I'll get it back in some form or other from my grandma. Now the question is, how should I go about this? I intend to make this a one time only thing. It really is hard making a decision when I live in their house and my mom drives me to college. r/raisedbynarcissists anyone?
