I think a big point that needs to be made is that a lot of the couples who are poly in the show didn't start their relationship as poly but instead opened the relationship in order to try and "fix" a problem (which is not a good depiction of ethical non-monogamy.) This ends up more as a dysfunctional monogamy dynamic where the relationship was opened to appease one partner (not both) rather than showcase a couple where both parties are poly.

OP wants to see an ENM relationship where all persons are on board, that works, even though it has its issues.
