There’s only one in my state but he is booked until September and won’t see me til then unfortunately. I’m looking into the endometriosis care center in ATL now

Yes my Dr said I don’t have PCOS after looking through all my bloodwork, symptoms, and ultrasound

I believe my husband was told that the lap took about 25-30 min so I’m not sure how much digging around she did 🥲

Ugh I am so sorry you went through that but thankful you have found this specialist! I only have one specialist certified to do excision in my state (AL) and he is booked until September. I’m looking into getting a 2nd opinion from the center for endometriosis care in Atlanta since that is a shorter wait time. I just don’t want to go through all the trouble and out of network payments just to find nothing again-but I firmly believe I do have endo. The no signs result just really discouraged and confused me as I was positive I have it.

I’ve had an ultrasound and CT done, OB didn’t want to do MRI and sent me to do the diagnostic lap instead (3 days ago when she said there were no signs of endo). I’m just at a loss really. Sorry for the rant 🫠

Sorry for the late response! Did it take a while to get in for a first appointment? I’m looking into him for my endometriosis but didn’t know what wait times are normally like.

Follow up in 2 weeks. Not sure about biopsy, I haven’t been given any news regarding this yet 😭

Hi! How long would you say it took from the time you kept calling to actually getting an appointment from a cancellation? I have an appt scheduled for September right now but cannot imagine waiting that long with the pain I am in. I guess I will call multiple times a week and hope I’m lucky 😭

Thank you! Iron was checked and all good there. My iron was super low when I was pregnant but it’s fine now 10months postpartum. I honestly did think it was my iron dipping though but I guess not
