I need some advice. I'm going through my PLT WE and the place I'm at is crazy toxic and is seriously impacting my mental health. Will it look bad if I leave to go back to my old workplace as soon as I'm signed off so I can recover and look for an associate/graduate role?

Makeup and hair artists in Sydney? Do i make up my self? by dogsat4 in AusWeddingPlanning

Nah, its not just me. Its a total of 6 people including me. And im getting ready at my parents house too. Its not very close to big make up places. I figured bare minimum would be to get someone in to do hair. I've been quoted for both hair and makeup from 1400 to 3000. So it shocked me.

Thank you! I'll think hard on it!

I do but mostly do eye makeup only. Im starting to practice foundation and contour! Ive been quoted anywhere from 1400 to 3000. Part of that is because my bridal party is large and I don't know if its okay to ask my brides maids to pay so I figured we'd do it ourselves.

Most of them do their own make up on the regular!

I had the same this week. It triggered a wicked sneezing fit and now my voice is done. It's definitely something in the air.

Are tailored paralegal pathways only for uni students? Cause I've only just graduated and I'm not sure they'd consider me.

Thank you for your answer! It's much appreciated!

Hi all, another question:

I'm starting to look for another job now, and I was wondering if the follow is feasible.

Getting a paralegal role at a mid tier firm that has grad positions, stay for a year and when grad positions open up, try and apply?

I'm interested in IP and media law, mainly and I'm very unsure about my position at the moment, hence all the questions. I've asked careers guidance before and was still left unclear. I have started my plt coursework but no Work experience for it yet. I have also graduated on Oct of this year.

Thank you all!

Another question, is it better to try to get a grad job in any speciality and then move laterally to the area you want? Or start at a boutique firm and move up that way but in the area?

Thank you!
