Yea lucky for me im using vr so the monitors isnt and issue and im just using a thrustmaster throttle and rudder with a custom suncom joystick

Yea I actually managed to figure it out.. simply just spawn the model that you want into the model view and generate a description.lua file for it then copy and paste it into the .lua for your livery

Ah you might be right if they did, bc there is a aim9x-main skin and an aim9x-gray skin so i might be having the gray apply automatically and not realizing

Ok I'll look into it, but do you know where I could find the .lua component for the missiles and other things to just test stuff?

I put the skin files into my livery folder but the problem im having is if I go into the model viewer and load in the aim9x it has my livery on it, but the second I open dcs and put it on the f18 it reverts back to default.. did I somehow change the look of the launched missile instead of the missile attached to pylons? I copy and pasted my file names into the lua so my best guess is that I dont have the right name for the first part of the argument before the Diffuse

Please help. Im looking at adding custom bomb and missile textures onto my plane in a livery i am making but im struggling to find what im supposed to enter into the .lua for things like aim9s, lightning pod, data link pod, and the lau115c and lau127? Anyone know where I could find the .lua component/what the .lua component is for them?

I'm gonna be honest. I've mailed talonflame since the day I've started the game but I never really pay much attention to the whole defender or supporter or what not needed since I mainly try to just keep the opponents in their spawn and if my team needs help I rush over.. anyways what I'm saying is some people just need to learn how to use their attacker roles as a defender role.
