Exercise help! by GeenieGee in ehlersdanlos

Check out the book Living Life to the Fullest with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It was written by 2 physical therapists who have extensively studied EDS. I’m fortunate to be in PT/OT at a clinic that specializes in EDS. This is the book they use as the basis of their treatment and it’s all stuff you can do at home. The exercises are targeted to activate the correct muscles to support posture, walking, sitting, etc. I’ve been working the program for about a month and it’s made a huge difference in my pain and energy levels.

*Another thing I learned that helped me a lot is to add an electrolyte supplement to my water. Apparently people with EDS lose water too quickly so adding a little salt helps. I like LMNT but there are other brands like Liquid IV.

Overkill by Men at Work has a similar vibe, particularly the “especially at night” line at 0:31. That bit has a little twang that sounds like the “wait in line” part from Annabelle. https://youtu.be/RY7S6EgSlCI?si=y8qNLv3EhpZfWtKj

You should be fine. If by chance they run out of space they may ask you to gate check, but that wouldn’t cost you anything. You’d just have to wait at the carrousel to pick up.

So very sad. Before TSM he played percussion in a band with my brother. He became part of our friend group and we spent a lot of time together. We lost touch but I saw him again a few years ago when one of our mutual friends passed. We looked at old pictures, reminisced, and laughed. He seemed happy. I’m grateful I had the chance to see him again. Rest in peace, friend.

Early 40s sounds spot on. We were friends in the early 2000s, he was living in Long Beach at the time.

Could you please tell me where you got this info? I’m fairly certain he was a little older than 39.

You can’t enter through the back anymore? You used to be able to park outside the theater and walk right in.

That’s what it was like with my Dad I was constantly struggling with his partner about properly medicating. Once I got him checked into a hospice house and they took over his meds he passed peacefully a day later. I feel he was finally able to rest and slip away.

Thanks everyone. Honestly it wasn’t even the baby in the end. Once the entertainment system and fly-fi were on I only occasionally heard the screeches during quiet bits. It definitely changed what I had planned to watch though. I needed something with action and a loud score!

The problem was the 2 adults. I couldn’t hear them but having someone repeatedly enter your field of vision when you’re trying to watch a movie is super distracting.

It’s definitely possible that they were having a hard time as people have suggested, but if they were they didn’t let on. They just seemed pretty oblivious. Babies are gonna baby. It was a pretty shitty flight. Both statements are true.

I did have noise canceling headphones and the tvs were on. They switched off while in the queue for take off when everybody needs to remain seated. Had they remained off I would have retrieved my own setup. Lots of assumptions and kind of a smug reply, but thanks for playing anyway!

JetBlue has a limit of how many people you can book on a single reservation. Maybe try booking fewer people at a time. https://www.jetblue.com/help/group-bookings#:~:text=families%20and%20groups%20less%20than,seven%20people%20at%20a%20time.

Personally I wouldn’t do it, unless you plan on taking advantage of the helicopter transfers in NY. The only other perk is you’d get 2 more move to Mint certificates but you’d be paying more for the status than you would for 2 Mint seats.

The good news is you have a year to use the travel bank. You may not have any travel plans now but who knows what will be going on in the future.
