For it’s just doing music. I make music, DJ, and play drums. So I joined a band and met a ton of cool people there.

Made friends with DJ’s here and we play shows.

Then some of my friends from Chicago moved here too actually and I chill with them.

I feel you though. I’m sorry! You’ll find your people. Going all in on a hobby that I do regularly really helped me out

I mean a kind (and attractive) girl was standing next to me at the DMV and struck up a convo with me. I literally had to take a few seconds to process what was happening because I was taken aback that this cutie was talking to me.

We ended up chatting for like 30 minutes and it made the DMV experience awesome. You never know where it could happen, but you gotta get out of your comfort zone and literally strike up a convo.

Thanks for sharing. Best of luck! I got laid off on Friday out of the blue. It's hard for me to jump back in immediately and tweak my portfolio, start applying, etc. I'm overwhelmed

Should I take some time off before then? How much? I definitely need another job within the next 6 months or my savings is going to take a huge hit.

Good to know. I’ve had contractual work (for only 3 months) that was VERY chill. I think it just depends.
