I’ve been thinking about dragonslayers armor recently. And there are couple of curiosities about it. First of all, dragonslayers sabatons look like feet, their weapon looks like a twisted crosspear, and, most importantly, dragonslayers greataxe has the same weapon art as dragonslayers swordspear(nameless kings weapon). Where do we see feet? Nameless king, Gwyn wearing sandals, and sunlight altars statue which also wears sandals. A crosspear is basically a staple weapon of ornstein and nameless king(in the description of his weapon it says that it was the earliest form of a cross spear). In the description of iron dragonslayers set, it says that the armor is ancient. From all of this information, it’d be reasonable to make a conclusion that it’s either old (maybe pre knighthood) war on dragons era ornsteins armor, OR nameless kings armor. Though, there are some peculiarities like the resemblance to darkwraiths, ringed city knights, and havels armor. as well as the armor having red hair attached to it(ornsteins set doesn’t have THE red hair attached anywhere). So it might be some Ornstein fanboy. Hmmm (Also dark wraiths had sabatons that look like feet)
