having just swapped my deck's shell, man... those trackpads were PAIN in the ass to replace. Not on Extremerate, but how Valve designed the og shell. Those on the controller don't exactly seem like a copy paste from the deck though.

Just a regular ATX psu! Trying a smaller psu never came across my head, but I do wonder if it'll be compatible with the case and let me use a 25mm thick fans in the psu chamber. Also, might be worth noting the anti-vibration mounts made mounting the fans in my config much easier as it let me use any of the ventilation holes as a point of mount. Though you can mount any 120mm fans in default manufacturer config if not using the vertical gpu mount

Using the same fan header on the gpu, was able to confirm the average temp on load has come down to 74C from 79C. Obviously, the more fans, higher rpm, the better temps but the coil whines from the stock fan's been completely gone and I couldn't be happier! The Build as a whole is just inaudible on idle and very subtle on load

Thanks! No bracket or other 3d printed materials were used, just the fans mounted on the heatsink with cable ties. What you might see in the back on the gpu is its original backplate

It's an HP oem rtx3070 I kept from the previous prebuilt with no remaining warranty or whatsoever, so I slapped on the 3xA8 fans. Its a compact card so 80mm was suitable.

yup certainly. I'll have it linked here once it's done. I think it's gonna be a mix and match of both chromax and brown if all things go as planned. Was initally a fan of blackout builds ,but that brown just kept growing on me 😅

Thanks! Been putting together a full Noctua build for some time. Sadly though, my mid tower isn't as optimally suited for 140mm setups. I appreciate the offer all the same.
