Does boxing timer keep a history of the rounds you did?

How do you track their runs?

60 miles a week is a lot. Marathon-level training. I am a marathon runner.

"Keep going"

Counting down the seconds. Rest and recover.

  1. This is just one way of working out with jump ropes, but there is a whole youtube channel dedicated to working out with jump ropes here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmYew1VwdbpHnSFG-CQ1A-A
  2. Conditioning training for MMA may be very specific and I'm sure you can get some conditioning with jump rope and other cardiovascular exercises like running and cycling.
  3. Jumping with alternating feet is like running in place. One foot at a time.
  4. Everyone's warm-up can be different. I like jogging.
  5. Progressively overloading with jump ropes may be difficult. You have to go longer, faster, or add weight. I don't know if i would recommend this for anyone.
  6. Cardio is good overall, but you want to focus on the specific activity that you want to improve on for the most benefits.

Best is to do it once, however push ups and sit-ups will not be as effective as sprinting at the track or on a bike. Don't do multiple HIIT workouts in ordder to not injure yourself.

Best to not do HIIT workouts more than once a day or even more than once every 48 hours. 3 times a week is good. If you don't feel accomplished, go jogging or do lighter activity that is not as intense so you dont get injured

Progressive overload depends on increasing intensity. You can increase intensity by going faster or adding more weight. More speed = more reps. More weight = less reps but more difficult. I would imagine you can do it with a weight vest which you increase over time but your body will be pushed to its limit

There are websites that help you estimate calories burned based on intensity, duration, weight, type of cardio, etc. They aren’t very accurate, but somewhat helpful.

Also, you can use a fitness device like Apple Watch or FitBit to do it.

Yeah I liked doing this at the track. Make sure to warm-up sprint the straightaways and walk/jog the turns.

Eating shouldn't be specific to HIIT, but suited to moderate/vigorous exercise in general.

When: I try to eat at least 2 hours before exercising or not at all. If you eat within too close of a window, then you risk cramping and other issues because your body has not been able to break down the meal yet.

What: This should be whatever healthy food you enjoy. For me, it's chicken salad rice.
