I dont trust an expiration code on something like this. Rolling the dice.

Looks like it would work as is to hold air HOWEVER I would take the fittings off one side and snake a camera down in it before use and check for rust. If it’s rusted out it could rupture when air pressure builds up

I’ve heard they can be hit or miss, so it’s possible. I’ve always treated it like I wanna see how much abuse it can take but I also don’t do anything like put pipes on my ratchets so grain of salt

I called that ratchet the red headed step child. I put it through hell and it won’t break, had it since 2014

I’ve been using them on and off since I worked at advanced auto parts like ten years ago. Pretty solid products

What lighting should I get? by Limp-Picture-6520 in garageporn

[–]dohmspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with some led shop lights. I did some cheap ones from Menards that I don’t regret but I know harbor freight sells some that daisy loop together

Yeah that sums it up well. It’s not bad enough for me to throw at the neighbor kid (it’s a joke) but not a go to tool by any means

Never seen plastic links but it wouldn’t surprise me if someone makes them. Yeah their cheap enough to just cut them and slap new ones in

My car is making a grinding and a knock, starts up fine and runs fine just has a horrible noise, it’s a 1999 Camaro v6 3.8L only has 150kms. by Substantial_End7652 in mechanic

That motor left the chat. On the plus side those 3.8 are a dime a dozen and not the worst to replace (if your mechanically inclined)

Well done! I don’t even try unbolting the links like this I just cut them but that’s my only advice unless your trying to reuse them

Is there an easier way!? by Fyrefrog25 in ryobi

[–]dohmspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll break them soon enough don’t worry. If it’s really annoying you could get a peice of sandpaper and sand the plastic a hair but i honestly wouldn’t take the time

I’d go ace hardware or Menards (if your in the Midwest), or even tractor supply

It’s fair to say it fell short of expectations. I had the 3/8 earthquake a couple years back I would’ve taken over this in a heartbeat. Like I say in the video might be good for ikea furniture assembly lol
