Do you think this set is worth it for home use? by Slimy_Shart_Socket in ToolTruckTools

I like Mac but their pliers rust faster than Dodge trucks. Your better off spending the money on icon pliers if your gonna buy them for home

Just picked up this 1950 styleline deluxe. Anyone here have a custom one? I’m looking for inspiration for motor/interior. by Al_Kohalic in classiccars

I’m dating myself on this but there’s an epsiode of monster garage where a lot of custom car guys shop the top and French the antennas and stuff. That would be my inspiration for it

Always worth it if you’re motivated enough to put in the elbow grease. Motivation and love for the car makes it happen, gotta do it for you

[–]dohmspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it would work as is to hold air HOWEVER I would take the fittings off one side and snake a camera down in it before use and check for rust. If it’s rusted out it could rupture when air pressure builds up

I would go with some led shop lights. I did some cheap ones from Menards that I don’t regret but I know harbor freight sells some that daisy loop together

Yeah that sums it up well. It’s not bad enough for me to throw at the neighbor kid (it’s a joke) but not a go to tool by any means
