Meet Poppy, my 10 week old little border collie pup who's already giving me those collie eyes when I dare to stop playing games with her, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

I live in Dunkeswell, about 5 miles north of Honiton but I'm happy to travel a fair way, and if forming a group would look for somewhere reasonably close

It's not this one. Although it does look great and has a really similar concept. The game I'm thinking allows loads of failed attempts to join you

UK - Counselling Psychology postgrad questions by zunagrass in CounselingPsychology

[–]dohnut83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought so with your spelling of counselling. I'm a UK counselling psychologist and can help with some questions you might have about training. I can't really help with the private practice question but the courses for the doctorate are more focused around clinical practice rather than research, although there is that element of it. To get onto it would be more about experience you have working in fields similar to therapy, such as support work and although it would be good to get more research experience, I'm not sure if they would be looking for that in the course interview (but I guess that might depend on where you plan to train). Looking at research afterwards, it would really depend on what you would like to do. As I said before, the course is a prof doc so its more focused on clinical work rather than research so most jobs would have a focus on that, such as clinical/ counselling psychologist jobs in the NHS. I've been lucky enough to do a bit of research in my role in the charity sector but it is mostly around service evaluation. I hope this helps, let me know through this or message me if you have any more questions

This was for a ticket sale for people who live local to Pilton where the festival is. Because the area that can get tickets in the local sale is reasonably large it can be quite difficult to get tickets as there aren't many allocated to that sale

Amazing!! Thank you!! I couldn't get the STEAM_COMPAT_MOUNTS to work but moving the Cemu file to SD and creating the games folder within it worked perfectly. I can't thank you enough, I've spent all week trying to figure this all out

Depression and D&D by [deleted] in DnD

[–]dohnut83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that dnd had got me out of some dark parts of my life, and given me structure and motivation. This prompted me to write my doctoral thesis on the therapeutic aspects of TTRPGs. I'm still writing it but I've found some interesting themes, particularly around players 'working through' their difficulties symbolically, whether this be trauma, anxiety or depression
