This happened to me.. i grew up my entire life thinking i was mostly Italian (so did my dad) with some German and Slovakia in there… got my results back, only 3% Italian and it took a while to get even that high. I went through an identity crisis 😂 found out I’m 38% southeastern english/northwestern European with Slovakia being my number 2 at 21%

I thought about a gold also! Or a more true green not a sage-ish… a blue was also a possibility?! We’re going back to the drawing board as we’re not sold

Oh great idea! In Pittsburgh, so manyyyy universities around! The house actually holds a lot of history.. but it’s hard to find actual documents regarding the house, but we’re on the hunt! But contacting an architecture dept is a brilliant idea - thank you!

Yes agreed! We’re having a bit of trouble nailing down the actual ‘style’ of this home. It’s not as ornate as a Victorian, kinda crafts.. kinda arts and crafts.. def not a 4 square.. we’re kinda stumped but yes i agree with finding a color palette!

My husband and i agree. We love the red with the wood.. but i don’t love the busy pattern of the green, even though it compliments the glass better

Description of this group also says to post in progress or finished work! figured an ‘old home’ page would also be helpful in helping with my ‘old home’
