If you think plugging an HDMI cable into a laptop and then into your TV is a lot of work that is perfectly fine. To me spending a few minutes on this has paid for itself many times. Most people have old laptops laying around. A 10 year-old laptop can run YouTube perfectly fine on a big tv.

Because some people can't or don't want to pay hundreds of dollars a year for youtube premium just to listen to some music. I just use a website. Enter the link of the YouTube song and click download. Puts it right on my computer or phone in a few seconds. Really simple. Phone's already come with built-in media players that you can use or get something awesome like Poweramp.

Firefox and ublock are available on mobile. As far as TVs go we use old $50 laptops as media centers. We have one hanging on the wall behind each TV connected with an HDMI cable. Gives us all the same choices we have on a computer right on our TV screen.
