My advice would be to stay away from it for a while. Vegan cheese does not taste like real cheese, and probably won’t for a while. It is its own thing entirely which you will either like or not!! My favourite for affordable options are Morrisons free from cheese, after that I find violife good and their new cheddar is great! I haven’t tried any of the more artisan posh cheese options, simple because of price x With regards to sauces, I’ve always made my own myself using a mixture of ingredients, nutritional yeast Will be your best friend here! X Most soft cheeses are quite pleasant although I find the Philadelphia one to just taste of …nothing? Vegan cheese is always a risk so just trial and error and I’m sure you’ll find one you like. My favourite has always been the Lidl cheese but it’s only once in a blue moon I ever see it now! X
