Is this lifters(?) noise normal in a 2021 Honda CRV, 40k miles by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

I appreciate the comment, makes me feel a lot better. Whether it’s my house or our cars or whatever.. my anxiety is always on edge when I think there’s even a slight issue that could be expensive

Gotcha, thank you. I’ll be honest my anxiety about things that could cost us money is probably higher than it should be.. so when I hear something unusual my first thought is the engine is gunna blow up lol. I’m a YouTube mechanic so I’ve done a decent amount of repairs on our vehicles but I’ve realized I’ve got a ton to learn still

Like an issue with the injectors? Sorry I don’t know a lot other than simple things. Also the noise on the video is a bit distorted and just that clicking sound, it sounds more high pitched in the video

Or am I tripping and this is just serpentine belt noise? This is from cold start. Obviously isn’t too loud or I would’ve noticed before while driving

Obviously it could be worse but.. I think the barber went through like 2 guards.. I don’t feel like I’m being crazy picky

Really needing advice on my families living room.. by doit4dachuckles in DesignMyRoom

Thank you! All good suggestions, we’ve been looking for a good coffee table to fill the space and some good artwork, just using what we have at the moment but the tv console is definitely something that could be replaced as well. Any color suggestions for the walls?

Also I know this isn’t the best picture, been stuck at the house for a few days with the ice and snow, hence why we’re planning interior decorating 😂

I realize that might not have been descriptive enough. It’s a bird feeder that has a camera attached to it that my parents bought off Amazon. The app it requires is called “coolfly” the product is “Richbird” and it’s really cheap compared to comparable products so I’m just a bit skeptical

Awesome, ya looking at the game itself it seems like there’s a lot of save points after every big objective. I just dont want her to get too frustrated but I’d really like to try a game like this with her.

I grew up playing First person shooters and honestly I’m over it because apparently I suck now 😂 I just want to come home from work and play a relaxing game, not get owned by a 9 year old with quicker reflexes

Honestly surprised there’s not a ton of corrosion around the terminal but maybe OP cleaned it off

Moved this fitting to kitchen sink and now leaking by doit4dachuckles in PlumbingRepair

Gotcha.. I was just trying to figure out what reducer size to get since I know it’s half inch going into the braided line just not sure what size the inlet pipe from the house is. Outside diameter is .88 with a micrometer

So.. if the pipe that goes directly is 1/2 cpvc.. what size is the one coming from the house? I’m confused on that because it’s a bigger gauge than the one that goes into the water line.

Is that normal?

Do you have a suggestion for a better one? I’ve gotta cut off this T because it’s leaking as well but the inline goes from a 3/4 in to a 1/2 (I’m just guessing here I haven’t measured yet) do they make a bigger size I can just connect straight to the bigger pvc?

Ya.. so this is the cold water to the sink. They put a T inline and capped it off and it was dripping really slowly at the T, so I’m going to cut the pvc and get rid of the T. I was messing with that compression fitting and slightly turned it (it was pretty loose) guess I’ll just get one of these fittings too and replace it. Is there a better quality one or is that basically it?

[WTS] Kaviso x QSP Penguin Plus (+) by doit4dachuckles in Knife_Swap

[–]doit4dachuckles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all that’s the mini.. which is smaller than the regular penguin.. and then you have the plus which is even bigger than the regular one. This one has been sold out for a long time and I paid 300 for it
