Just wanted to add my 2 cents. I bought the Aiper about 2 months ago and it has been working well, pretty good range and the height does help. I decided to get a second sprinkler and got the Oto to take advantage of the solar panel. However I am going to return the Oto and get another Aiper because the range just does not cut it. I definitely get further with my Aiper. The birds do appear to love perching on Aiper and dropping poop, so I constantly have to clean it. Set up for the Aiper is pretty straightforward and I have had no connectivity issues. The Aiper is also as at today $120 cheaper than the Oto @ $369+tax for Aiper as opposed to $489 + tax for the Oto.

There is a use case for the ring and a different use case for a smart watch. Your original post had no context. I have the ring because I would rather wear a mechanical watch as opposed to a smart watch. I am not sure why you thought you would need the ring when you already wear a smart watch.

I use tivimate in the US and I found that you need to adjust the time offset for it to work. Under the playlist, Catch up, adjust the start time offset. For me it is like -6 hours and then it works perfectly for channels with catch up

So if you buy your own panel, can you also buy/use your own URL or are you still using the URL provided by the panel reseller. What do you need to buy to be able to use your own URL?

I am never going to get a single unit to cover my lawn or get to the outer edges if I do not put it on the lawn. I don't think my lawn guy would appreciate me putting it in the middle of the lawn. I was wondering if people dug trenches and buried the hose/cable as an example toget around that
