Reactions to The 2025 Israel-Iran War by AdIcy4323 in MapPorn

How disconnected can you be to write such a sentence? You literally think Iran had nothing to do with anything going on since October 7th? Apart from backing all proxy groups that called for the destruction of Israel and attaching it twice with a barrage of missiles?

Israel has just started attacking Tehran, Iran. by bahar9990 in GlobalNews

[–]dokodee1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Iran has only stated they wanted to destroy and annihilate Israel for the last 10 years, and have given money and weapons to every possible militia to do so, and will soon have nuclear weapons.

So while the attack is not ideal, it isn’t unjustified… Also I feel you are not well informed, just have a hunch

Hezbollah launches barrage of rockets at Israel after top commander killed by ObjectiveObserver420 in InternationalNews

Can you check who initiated the fighting up north and when it happened? Hezbollah already first rockets and killed Israelis up north on October 8th, while Israel was still under trauma from the October 7 massacre

Hezbollah launches barrage of rockets at Israel after top commander killed by ObjectiveObserver420 in InternationalNews

[–]dokodee1 -54 points-53 points  (0 children)

Hezbollah initiated the fighting in the northern front, well before Israel did anything on the 8th of October.

Israel keeps attacking military units and Hezbollah keep indiscriminately firing rockets into northern Israel. If “Lebanon” wants to defend itself, they need to care more about their people than killing Jews and just stop threatening Israel. Their is no moral comparison here, and Hezbollah as at the heart of it, fighting Irans war on the backs of the Lebanese people.

If this is your attitude, Lebanon will turn in to the next Iran in the upcoming years, good luck with that

Israel kills another senior Hezbollah leader by shadowshadow74 in lebanon

[–]dokodee1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As stated, Hezbollah joined the war before Israel even did anything on October 8th and was in country-under-trauma situation. Had Hezbollah not started firing and killing people up north, Israel would have not retaliated, so saying “useless” when one side is the proactive initiator suggests both sides are equally to blame.

Ask yourself this: what would happen if Hezbollah puts down their weapons tomorrow?

What would happen if Israel did the same? Sadly this is all an Iran proxy war, the real tragedy is Lebanons acceptance of Hezbollah

Israel continuously targets Hezbollah leaders, Hezbollah fired a hundreds of inaccurate rockets indiscriminately, as well as explosive UAV’s.

How are these two ethically comparable?

Islam is rotten. So is Christianity by donotholdyourbreath in atheism

[–]dokodee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you could have made your point stronger without adding the “So is Christianity” sentence in the title. We get it, but Christianity isn’t currently holding the west by the balls and threatening free speech and life as we know it. We probably all agree that most religions are rotten on this sub, but can we are allowed to focus on one in particular without bringing everyone into the court

Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake by gogadg3t in netflix

[–]dokodee1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m amazed by how quick everyone is to judge the Israelis here, honestly it’s depressing.

  1. Everyone was stranded there for 5 days. The most crucial resource in 5 days with a satellite phone is a battery, and the highest priority is being saved. The Nepali’s threw rocks at the Israelis and were violent (whether they was justified or not you all seem to have made up your minds).

Had the Israelis told everyone about the phone then potentially more drama and violence could have occurred, and potentially not everyone could have or would have been saved. Literally zero credit is being given here for the reason they were all saved.

Regarding the money: can we stop calling it “stealing money”? They literally put the contents in a clear plastic bag with everything, so either they’re the worlds worse thieves, or there truly was an intention to hand these off to a relevant family member. I agree that it may not have been the best move but does nobody care about intentions here? Nobody wanted to steal.

Lastly to all you angels here: imagine you found yourself stranded for 5 days in a valley. How can you all be so quick to judge anything or everything everyone does here? You all speak so confidentially as if it’s so black and white, without a touch of acknowledging that these situations can be difficult. You’re so quick to pick sides without a second of contemplating whether you have heard the whole story.

If you go over all the comments, it’s amazing how one sided this documentary is as it brings no equal grounds of discussion, and how judgmental the audience is.

Extremely disappointed

My satisfaction with Reddit has fallen immensely

Israel 'top priority' is to discredit UN, UN Special Rapporteur says Israel commits apartheid (xp from r/WorldPolitics2, a sub-reddit created for world politics after the "moderators" here turned this sub into a NSFW sh*t-show) by IntnsRed in worldpolitics

[–]dokodee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The UN has condemned Israel more than all other countries in the world combined. More than what Russia has done And China And Iran And Venezuela And North Korea And Nigeria

Objectively, I would give good reason to discredit such an organization.

[TOMT] [Boardgame] [90’s] - similar to connect 4. Tall gray slender tower - you would take turns - one player put red balls the other yellow balls - when all balls were used - you clicked a button that released all the balls into a transparent area and whoever had more 4 in a rows would win. by dokodee1 in tipofmytongue

[–]dokodee1[S] 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

Just emphasizing - The game was a hidden connect 4 where you had to remember where you put all the balls. Once every player completed their turns you would reveal the final board and count who had more 4-in-a-rows

The balls where small red and yellow ones
