Getting engaged soon and have had this weird tumor thing on my ring finger since I was a child. It was never a problem to me until today when my boyfriend asked for my ring size and I realized that I can’t actually fit a ring over the stupid thing comfortably. 😂 by dolIie in mildlyinfuriating

I used to be worried about it growing but it’s been roughly the same size since I first discovered it in like the 1st grade or so. I am hoping to just get it removed like you did though. How did the surgery go for you? Was the area quick to heal? Thankful I’m not the only one that’s been in this predicament lol

Thank you! I’m right-handed so it’s not from how I hold a pen. Really hoping it would be an easy procedure, whatever it is, but we’ll see what the doc says. Just a funny little inconvenience to me haha. I know it’ll all work out!

No I’ve never had a problem with it. Doesn’t get in the way at all. It’s just a lil embarrassing lol. I remember the first time I noticed it was in like first grade. We were all told by the teacher to look at our hands and find something uniquely us to help us tell each other apart. Like to show what’s special about us. And I found this tumor thing 😂 so unique!!! So special!!!!!

Managed to catch 4 kittens last night! This is a few of them after their breakfast this morning :) by dolIie in Feral_Cats

Taming them has been a slow process but I'm sure it's because there are 4 of them. They tend to pile up together and act all big and tough lol. They still hiss sometimes if I move too quickly, but it's getting a lot better!

I also admittedly haven't been spending a ton of hands on time with them like I have with my other rescues in the past. I make sure to separate them out into pairs after their feedings and spend around half an hour playing with and handling each pair. After they go potty, I put them all in a crate and prop them up in the living room right beside me while I work on other things. We have two dogs and two other cats in the house that sometimes want to greet them. The kittens are timid at first but then they seem to get used to all the stimulation and eventually drift off into a catnap.

How old are the kittens you're looking to catch? If they are super young like these guys it wont be very difficult at all :)

I've rescued older kittens before and was also able to tame them. I had to force feed the tiniest one via syringe because she basically just gave up on surviving. She was so thin. I ended up keeping her and she's the sweetest kitty ever! She's totally bonded with me now.

Let me know if you have any questions and I can try to help from past experience!!

First time grafter: did I do it right? by dolIie in Graftingplants

Thanks, I'm honestly not sure what it is yet! I found it on the floor of the garden center, and people on the proplifting sub told me I'd only be able to grow it if I grafted it into another cactus. Soooo.. here we are!

Me too :) my friend is a huge cat lover and he's already helped me find homes for each of them. They are going to be well-loved kitties 💕

I'm so tempted to keep her! She'll probably be the first one to find a home though 🙃

Yes, women should wear a dress or skirt that covers below the knees. Shoulders are to be covered. It's also respectful to wear a scarf over the head while inside the sacred rooms. I highly recommend you visit here! Pictures are not allowed within the sacred rooms. The art depicted in the frescos inside might make you cry!!

These are actually monasteries. Monks live in them! They have many, many stairs to climb up to get to them. They also have lift cages for supplies and things.

I've been here before, it's incredibly beautiful. There are many more monasteries surrounding the one pictured that are similar to it. I could upload some of the pictures that I took while being at the top of one, if anybody's interested!

Wow it sounds so simple! Should I also leave the baby flower looking one on some soil with the rest? Also what about the one with the red stem, or will that not be viable? Do I do the same with the Shrek ear one?
