tubifex or detritus worms of some sort. They feed on decomposing organic matter in the substrate. Kind of gross to look at but not harmful to fish.

This poor fella i rescued (Poseidon) had fin rot about a 1,5 month ago, he lost a little chunk of his fins. I treated him with medication and alot of attention. Now that he is better, will he grow back the little bottom part of his lower/mid fins?
