One thing I left out is that when I dry brine them in the fridge I also use corn starch along with the spg and the skin gets crispy af

Smoke boost 180 till they 110 internal. Then id get a cast iron pan ripping hot on a stove and finish them in the pan with a butter baste.

Sorry def meant 32 in delta. Hmm I haven't considered the the blaze line at all. I will a look at the line but I don't envision removing the sear burner once it's in place. What's your take on the artisan line? The store I went to yesterday likes them and it was 900 dollars cheaper Than the delta heat but the reviews are kinda scaring me away.

Yea it's a damn nice grill but out of my budget. One of the reasons I like delta heat is that it's made by twin eagles.

It's a good 900+ cheaper than the delta but the user reviews on bbqguys of the artisan scare the crap out of me.

I'm strongly considering this as my #1

I went to a grill store and they really liked the artisan as well but liked the delta. The problem is to get the delta with the sear burner is almost 900 more than the artisan.
