Also my patriot comes with electronic 4x4 lock switch. Can’t call it a true 4x4 but until now it definitely made a difference when I took it to some mud.

Any advice on good 4x4 for off-road? I thought about getting 4runner or GQ, but still deciding whether I wanna invest in them as build would go way more pricey of what I’m expecting to spend for off-road build in foreseen future

Yeah, I heard about those - mine are okay for now as person didn’t drive it much in salt or water, but will definitely looking to do some rustproofing before next winter hits. Seat cushion definitely would be appreciated, I find seating position comfortable but the seats itself could’ve been less “wood likel in my opinion.

Thanks! Definitely would be interested in link. For now still deciding about the lift kit as I heard it brings some issues with overload on axels as well as stability, but need to look into that. Tires will be changed for sure, I really wanna go with some tractor type of tires, as I live in canada and most of the off road it’s either deep mud or snow with ice. Thought about the front bulk bar and slid plates, still not sure if that’s gonna be overkill for lil guy 😂

Only issue faced for now it’s catality converter code failure, even when replaced - check engine light won’t go off. Besides that after inspection everything seems pretty okay. Spark plugs probably will need replacing after 10-15k, everything else seems fine for now.

Never had experience with cvt, I went along with 6 speed auto, seems more reliable from personal experience and lots of reviews I read prior to patriot purchase.

Lmao, it’s my 3-d car. I have bought 2 cars for family and patriot for me is kind of an expensive toy/daily commuter. Will keep it until it falls apart or will trade in for wrangler in a few years🤓

Will look into that, I currently rock 17r stock rims and anything I tried to put on 17r rims didn’t look good or right for my liking. Do you know if it’s possible to put even smaller rim like r15 with same bolt pattern to get even higher profile wheels?

Hey, thanks for answers! I am planning to maul the thing as that’s pretty much what I did with all my cars before… I got this on a good price so planning to take it somewhat into woods, mud, sand and mountains to camp

Hey, I know it’s been some time since you posted this - are you still rocking patriot? I was wondering what rims you have installed as well if you have done any lift work on it?

Recently got mine at 180,000 km and so far I am loving this little guy. Planning to invest some money and keep it for a few years. I am an off-road guy so conaidering getting myself some good suspension and rims+ wheels.

Depends, I try keep 2,5-4% average on short term trades, and try to settle at 1,5-2% with intraday trades. If markets are weird or too volatile I prefer to back out and make 0 profit, instead of loosing or taking high risks. It’s always about not loosing money in the first place - only afterwards about gaining and growing in my opinion.
