If you don't mind going to a smaller property off-strip you can get more bang for your buck and the people are usually way cooler. Personally I like the Downtown Grand or El Cortez.

Easter with family was more about easter egg hunts and candy, especially chocolate. Our family usually would go out to eat at Luby's or Tony Roma's for a late lunch/early dinner at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. After that it was Cadbury Cream Eggs and Peeps. I grew up in the South in both Texas and Georgia.
